Quick answers to common questions about Underground Platform.
How do I publish my music?
Create songs in Band Studio, then create recordings with uploaded audio. Add those recordings to a release (album, EP, single), upload artwork, and hit "Publish Now". Your music is immediately available to listeners.
How do I appear in Discover?
Publish your band profile. Go to Band Studio → Profile, complete your information (bio, genres, country, at minimum), and click "Publish Profile". You'll appear in the Discover section within moments.
Can I have multiple bands?
Yes. A single Artist account can create and manage multiple bands. Switch between them in Studio using the band selector. There's no limit to how many bands you can manage.
How do collaborations work?
The creating band owns the release. Set the type to Split or Compilation, then invite other bands. Once they accept, they can add their recordings. The owner controls track order and publishing. The release appears in everyone's discography.
What are achievements?
Achievements are badges earned automatically through platform activity — listening, discovering, following, referring friends. They come in tiers (Bronze through Platinum) and are visible on your profile.
How does the referral work?
Share your unique referral link (found on your account page). When someone registers and verifies their email using your link, they're counted as your referral. This contributes to the Scene Scout achievement.
Can I change my account type?
You can upgrade from Listener to Artist at any time from your account settings. This unlocks Studio access without losing your existing data. Downgrading from Artist to Listener is not currently supported.
Is ISRC required?
No. ISRC codes are entirely optional on Underground Platform. You can add them if you have them (from a distributor or label), but they're not required to create recordings or publish releases.
How do I manage live events?
Go to Band Studio → Live Events (or Venue Studio → Live Events for venues). Create an event, set the date and venue, invite bands to the lineup, upload a poster, and publish. You can cancel or postpone if plans change.
How do I contact a band or venue?
Use the messaging system available on band and venue profiles. You can also use recruitment listings to reach out to bands looking for members, or respond to their open positions.
