Band Profile

Bio and basics

Write a short biography for your band. Include your country and the year the band was formed. Keep it concise — this appears on your public band page.

Genres and tags

Select the genres that describe your music. Add free-form tags for more specific descriptions (e.g., "atmospheric", "d-beat", "technical"). Genres and tags are used in discovery and similarity matching.

Images

Upload your band logo, icon (square format for small displays), and header image (wide format for the top of your page). These define your visual identity across the platform.

External links

Add links to your presence elsewhere: Bandcamp, social media, official website, merch store, streaming profiles. These appear on your public band page.

Lineup

Configure your public lineup — who plays in the band and what they play. This is separate from Studio membership (which controls access). The lineup is what visitors see on your band page.

Support channels

Add links where fans can support you directly: Bandcamp, Patreon, Ko-fi, PayPal, or any other platform. These are displayed prominently on your band page.

Publishing your profile

Your band profile must be explicitly published to appear in Discover. Go to Band Studio → Profile, review your information, and click "Publish Profile". You can update and re-publish at any time.

Tip: Publishing your profile is separate from publishing releases. You can have a visible profile before you've released any music.
