Use Underground lawfully, honestly and without harming people, rights or infrastructure.

Prohibited content and conduct

You may not use the Platform to:

• infringe copyright, neighbouring rights, trademarks, privacy, publicity or contractual rights;
• upload music, covers, samples, artwork or recordings without required permission;
• impersonate an artist, band, label, venue or other person;
• misrepresent ownership, credits, affiliations, availability or achievements;
• publish unlawful threats, targeted harassment, doxxing or non-consensual intimate material;
• exploit or endanger minors, including any child sexual abuse material;
• promote terrorism, trafficking or other unlawful violent activity;
• spread malware, credential theft, phishing, spam or deceptive schemes;
• sell or facilitate unlawful goods or services;
• manipulate ratings, follows, streams, searches, recommendations or engagement;
• create duplicate or coordinated accounts to evade enforcement;
• scrape, crawl or bulk-export content, metadata or personal data without permission;
• use Platform content for AI or machine-learning training without authorisation;
• probe, bypass or interfere with authentication, access control, rate limits, storage, APIs or infrastructure;
• introduce excessive load, denial-of-service activity or automated abuse;
• collect personal data for stalking, discrimination, unsolicited marketing or other incompatible purposes;
• publish knowingly false legal notices or abuse reporting systems.

Music-specific rules

Uploads must correspond to the artist or rightsholder represented by the publishing band account. Bootlegs, leaked recordings, unauthorised compilations, counterfeit profiles and wholesale copies of third-party catalogues are prohibited.

Covers, samples, remixes, mashups, live recordings and collaborative works require all permissions applicable to their publication and streaming.

Enforcement

Depending on severity and history, Underground may warn, restrict features, remove content, preserve evidence, suspend or terminate accounts, and report matters to competent authorities where required.
